About AMP
IT as Direction
Not everyone needs a four-year degree. Some people, youth and adults alike, need a purpose, a paycheck, and an opportunity to prove themselves. That's what AMP is.

The Origin
I've spent years managing IT for organizations like the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club. Over that time, I've seen firsthand how many young people and adults walk through those doors without a plan, without skills, and without anyone pointing them toward a real career path.
Meanwhile, I'm fixing their computers, managing their networks, deploying their systems. And I kept thinking: why not teach them to do what I do?
IT isn't just a career. It's problem-solving, critical thinking, patience, and discipline. For a young person, or an adult looking for a new path, who's been told they have no future, learning to troubleshoot a network issue or deploy a workstation can be genuinely transformative. It's tangible. You fix something, it works. That feedback loop builds confidence like nothing else.
AMP is the program I wish existed when I was younger. It's a hand up, not a handout. You show up, you work, you learn, and you get paid while doing it. No excuses, no busy-work. Just real training with real accountability.
"The best thing you can give someone isn't money. It's a skill and the confidence to use it."
- Steven Sanchez
